Hi everyone,

I'm trying to post more, make a comeback, be around more, etc.
Thought it was about time I posted a updated list of rules / etc.

So, here are my rules.

The Rules!

Post your work on Deviantart!
Send me a link to your work! (By commenting a link to your work on the image of mine that you used! I want to favorite your work!)
Credit me! On DeviantArt: credit to me must be [at least] in the artist comments of the image, linking to my DA profile: ElaineSeleneStock . Off Deviantart / Posted on other sites: credit should be ON the image OR on the same page as the image. Credit should read: “Stock from ElaineSeleneStock . Deviantart . Com” If you want permission to credit a different way, please send me a note.)
Prints & Commercial Use: YES! You can use my stock in your prints or for other commercial purposes! (For real cash or virtual cash!) Just let me know what you are using it for.
Online Games: YES! You certainly may use my stock for art in online games / HARPG's / etc. Simply follow my rules for crediting & letting me know.
Rider / People Stock: If you can see a person's face (Elaine's face doesn't count...) than here are the rules: Drawings & paintings (non-manipulation & NOT for profit) you don't have to change anything. If you are using a person's face in a photo-manipulation or for profit (real cash) than you MUST change the face! I get permission from my paying photography clients and friends to post pictures of them. They do NOT want their faces reproduced for profit.
Love my work to use my work! Please Favorite the image / images you use! (This makes me very happy! :woot
Common Sense: No porn, hate art, etc. If you are not sure what I mean, feel free to ask!

Elaine's making a DA comeback...?

Hello everyone!
I know I have not been around much at all lately. I haven't replied to notes or comments but I really miss it here (this is an awesome community) and I'm trying to get around to posting more stock images, line art, and generally making a comeback!

Here are a few important things to know:

- If you have requests for specific types of stock images OR line-art / resources (horses or otherwise) please feel free to ask me! If it isn't urgent than send me a DA note... if you need it soon than please feel free to email me! (Email listed below) OR send me a message via facebook (either one of my art pages or my personal profile "Elaine Selene")

- For those of you who ask about crediting in different ways (things you can't leave on-image credits on, or things like howrse coats) I am happy to be credited any way you can. I prefer the credit methods listed in my rules but as long as you please post the image you make on DA with credit there and credit me in any way you can off site than please feel free to use my images! If you have a question about credit still than please, email me or contact me through FB if you need a fast reply or if you have time to wait than send me a DA note.

- It is very important to me that we all stick together. If you think you see one of my images stolen than please do tell me. I will always do the same if I think I see someone elses images stolen.

- If you have any other questions (requests, permission to use images in different ways, etc.) please do feel free to contact me. Email / facebook is the fastest way to get a reply from me. DA notes I will try to reply to but it might be slow. I promise I have neither bark nor bite.

Stock from IRELAND!?

Hey all,
Ok ok, so most of you Irish people will just laugh at me because this is stuff I'm sure you see on a regular basis. LOL.

It is not that tourist trap stuff like the blarney stone. It is more countryside... and HORSES!

Anyway, I'm trying to catch up with life still...

Oh, and I'm back at photography classes...

New Type of Stock - RIDER STOCK - Specific Rules!

You may NOT use for commercial purposes!!!! This is part of my contract!
HOWEVER: There are certain SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES where allowances can be made!
These include: If you remove the rider, if you alter the rider (particularly the face) so they are no longer recognizable, if you are using the image for an artwork such as you plan to sell in a gallery (only)...
HOWEVER (x2): you MUST show me and have it approved BEFORE using for these commercial purposes!

Does this make sense to everyone? I will try to specify on these images that they have these special rules attached to them...

Please tell me this makes sense to you?

Details: New Stock, Updates, MORE!

Hello everyone,

I wanted to update all of you with the details on the stock that I will be uploading soon.

It is largely of horses & riders (that was what I was mainly being hired to do). HOWEVER, there are a LOT of free-lunge / liberty photos as well as conformation shots.

After that I got some new pictures of Apache (paint gelding, you might remember him?) as well as some other horses at his boarding barn.

Last thing I photographed is a friend's cat and her collection of stereoscope cards!

FIRST THOUGH:
1. I need to finish uploading everything that was already in my stash...
2. I need to EDIT the new images... haha! Details!
3. I need the riders who were in each photo shoot session to sign release forms allowing me to post their images.

It REALLY sucks that my Premium membership is expiring in like... 2 days... sooo... if anyone even wanted to donate a single month I would consider that to be worthy of a commission / exclusive stock.

Please note:
I am adding an UPDATED SECTION OF RULES in 3 places. My journal, my profile, and in a forum post to my profile page.

I will also be taking COMMISSIONS!!! Prices right now are (I feel) very low. I am accepting commissions for both line art and for stock photos. Please see the details on my profile!

Some other changes are happening too but my brain is not working well enough at the moment for me to list them...
